Higashidemyako means East Side of Kyoto. Slim white margins, vigorous plants, very nice when specimen size. This is a good 'Fuukiran' status Neofinetia with margins that is not terribly expensive. This plant does tend to get pink/purple coloration on the leaves if the light levels are too high. This can be avoided by growing in low/medium to medium light levels.
Photo of large plant is an example of current batch, which are very clean and distinct in variegation. This is one of the nicest grade crops of Higashidemiyako available.
