'Minmaru Shima' is the variegated version of 'Minmaru,' the semi-round leaf variety of Sedirea japonica that stays compact. Flowers are like the standard type shown in the video below.
Sedirea japonica, known as 'Nagoran' in Japan, can be found in sub-tropical regions of southern Japan and Korea. This is a miniature-growing species with a Phalaenopsis-like leaf habit. The flowers have a strong citrus scent, reminiscent of lemon. The plants we are offering are in pots, not mounted on a slab like the one in the photograph, though they do grow well that way.
