Preserved sheet moss has a dye added to keep the sheet moss green. However, it is worth noting that over time, with water and sun, this color will eventually fade back to brown or have a mix of green and brown color. The sheets are mixed in sizes, with the largest pieces roughly measuring about one square foot each.
