This is an incredible miniature. Intensity of flower color varies from light pink to a dark magenta color.
Intro:This is a miniature Cattleya-type cross between Catt. walkeriana and Slc. Pink Doll. The flowers colored in pink to magenta color with a well-rounded shape. This plant can bloom in a 2" pot size, and is also capable of blooming twice a year.Light:This plant prefers medium to high light. From 2500 to 4000 foot candles of light is ideal. Grow at 6 to 10 inches under the tubes when using florescent bulbs. When growing under high-pressure sodium lights, grow about 4 feet below the bulbs. When growing on a windowsill, a south exposure is ideal in the winter. Be careful not to burn the plant as spring approaches and the light becomes more intense. If that is the case, move the plant farther back from the window or to an eastern exposure.Humidity:50% or higher is ideal.Water:It is best to use rainwater, distilled or reverse osmosis water. Municipal water with a pH of 7.5 or lower can also be used. Water as the plant as the mix begins to dry out. This plant should be checked regularly if it is in a 2 to 3 inch pot size. When in bud or flowering keep the mix a little on the damp side to prevent bud or flower drop.Fertilizer:Use
GrowMore 20-10-20 Ureafree for municipal or well water. Use at the rate of ½ teaspoon per gallon. If using rain, distilled,
or reverse osmosis water, add back in 5 - 10% municipal or well water to supply the necessary calcium and magnesium.
Fertilize every other watering in the spring/summer and every third watering in the fall/winter.

The flowers are approximately 2 inches in diameter with long lasting bloom periods from 4 to 6 weeks. They are also slightly fragrant.Repotting:Repot this plant in the spring to early summer months every 1 to 2 years when it has no flowers or buds using a fine to medium grade bark mix in clay pots.
