Aerangis somalensis is found from the Horn of Africa to South Africa, above 1,000 meters in open woodland conditions. They tolerate cool to warm temperatures, and are suitable for mounting, or growing in pots in media that drains well. The plants we have to offer are near-flowering size plants, and should flower between 2015-2016. White, sweet-smelling, star-shaped flowers with long, ribbon-like nectary spurs appear on gracefully arching inflorescences up to 10" long.
