Description
With one of its parents being tetraploid, the resulting plants from this cross are one of the largest yet compact Brassavola hybrids we have seen. This lovely hybrid is very fragrant and blooms with flowers that open orange and fade to yellow. Since these are seed grown there will be variations in color shades and different amounts of spotting from plant to plant.
Brassavola Hybrids are some of the easiest of all orchids to grow and are perfect for beginners. Grow in good strong light and allow the potting mix to become just dry between watering. The flower spikes emerge first inside a sheath at the base of the leaf where it joins the supporting stem. The flowers can vary in color and spotting as these are seed grown plants.
