We created this cross to improve upon the size and color of Cattleya aclandiae and Cattleya violacea while maintaining the species-like look, resulting in vigorous and compact plants!

These are very nice growing plants with a bifoliate habit, displaying leaves that range from purple tinged to spotted. These should have excellent flowers of good size and substance, with colors in deep magenta-purple with some spotting in the petals and sepals. The flowers are around 4" in size, with 3 to 5 flowers per inflorescence.
