This is one of our re-makes of a primary hybrid made in 1899 by Veitch nursery using coerulea color parents. Pictured here is the first offspring to flower from this batch in December 2024 with impressive size, shape and color. These will all have the coerulea color.The fragrance is very sweet as well! Once specimen size, these may flower twice per year as C. trianaei flowers in winter and C. lueddemaniana flowers in spring to early summer. We have been growing these from seed since 2014. When listed in spike with the variant saying in sheath these will take a couple of months or so to flower.
