This is a remake of a primary hybrid made in 1899 by Veitch nursery using coerulea color parents. Pictured here is the first offspring to flower from this batch in December 2024 with impressive size and shape. The fragrance is very sweet as well! We expect some very fine coeruleas with flowers 6" to 7" wide. These may even flower twice per year as C. trianaei flowers in winter and C. lueddemaniana flowers in spring to early summer.
