Description
Native to the northwestern South American countries of Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, and Venezuela. This is one of two orchid species that grow on the Pacific side of the western slopes of the Andes. The flowers emit a light, pleasant floral scent. The photos show the in-bloom parents of this cross, which are the darkest coerulea plants in our collection.
