Description
Native to the northwestern South American countries of Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, and Venezuela. This is one of two orchid species that grow on the Pacific side of the western slopes of the Andes. This cross blooms with wonderful white flowers accented by deep purple veins in the lip and a yellow stripe down the center. The petals also have light purple striations. The flowers emit a light, pleasant floral scent. We are offering a select specimen plant from our collection that we have previously flowered as pictured in the last two photos. The buds are in the two sheaths and will flower in Late February to early March.
