Description
A beautiful rupiculous laelia native to Minas Gerais growing at an elevation of 1100-1200 meters. These laelias (now Cattleyas) grow in crevases in granite with their roots diving into peat-like build up in the crevases which always have some moisture. These are potted in New Zealand sphagnum moss so always allow the moss to just dry between watering. The brilliant 1" yellow flowers with a somewhat darker lip emerge mostly in spring and last well. Keep the potting material slightly more moist when in bud or flower.
