A miniature, epiphytic, Cattleya-Alliance orchid native to Brazil and Paraguay. In Brazil, the seed pods have been used as a source of flavoring, much like vanilla. This species does great in pots with bark or mounted onto slabs. It also has done well for us in unglazed clay pots in moss.

Our current batch can flower in 2025 or 2026.
