Native to Florida, Bahamas, Dominican Republic, and Haiti. This species belongs to a genus of only 10 species. The growing conditions are similar to Encyclia.
We are growing ours in plastic pots with New Zealand moss, but they can also grow well in bark or be mounted onto slabs. If you live in Southern Florida, they can also be mounted directly onto trees. These plants enjoy it warm with medium to bright light, and are overall easy to grow.
