Description
The best of the aggregatum with full round lips. These compact plants are easy to grow and tolerant of a wide range of temps. They need to be kept drier at the roots from late November until the flower spikes begin to show on the pseudobulbs. Water as the plant approaches dryness when in flower or growth mode. The flowers last for about a month and the plants can be loaded with flowers as they get older. The plants we offer are divisions of our collected plants from 1978. Interesting fun fact: The dried flowers of this species are used in China as an herbal tea.
Photos show both growing options. Mounted on cork, or in pot.
