Description
From the Himalayan region, south China, Thailand, and Vietnam this charming miniature from the Nigrohirsute section of Dendrobium. Along with its relatives this plant has black hairs on the undersides of the leaves and canes. The spikes appear near the apex of the squat canes and produce 3 to 5, large for the plant, white flowers with a red and yellow lip.
Please note, this orchid is deciduous in nature and canes will eventually drop their leaves as they mature. However, these canes will still produces flowers and new growths with leaves will emerge the following growing season.
Please Note: These plants were potted up into a bark mix with high drainage a few months ago. Normal growth has resumed and these plants are ready for ordering!
