This species is native to New Guinea and the Solomon Islands. It gets clusters of white flowers with dark pink to purple edges and striations on the lips. Each growth can flower for up to 15 times. The flower spikes emerge from the tops of the growths. The 2 to 3 inch flowers are very long lasting and have lasted for 4-5 months. Nice compact growth habit and prefers medium light. This plant keeps its leaves over winter and likes intermediate to warm conditions.
