A very famous clone from Germany created by Franz Wichmann of Wichmann Orchideen in 1958. It was awarded a HCC/AOS in 1972 and an upgrade to an AM/AOS in 1980. This plant has beautiful ruby red flowers with an interesting waterfall pattern on the lip. Excellent performer giving lots of flowers often twice per year. Grow in low to medium light with intermediate temperatures. Water as the mix approaches dryness.
