This is a limited seedling offering as this cross did not yield many offspring. This cross has been made before in Japan in hopes of the combination of both yellow and purple in the flowers. From previous generations we have seen the hybrids do show both colors, but in different intensities. Many are primarily yellow with a hint of purple, while some had a great 50/50 combination of colors. This batch has not flowered for us yet but most plants should reach blooming size by the summer of 2017. 'Ogonmaru' is a hybrid but still exported out of Japan as a species. Exact parentage is unknown but most likely they are Ascf. Moonlight Firefly.
