This is a limited seedling offering as this cross did not yield many offspring. This cross has been made before in Japan in hopes of the combination of both yellow and purple in the flowers. From previous generations we have seen the hybrids do show both colors, but in different intensities. Many are primarily yellow with a hint of purple, while some had a great 50/50 combination of colors.
'Ogonmaru' is a hybrid but still exported out of Japan as a species. Exact parentage is unknown but most likely they are Ascf. Moonlight Firefly.

Pictured is a one growth in bloom, showing a hint of purple on the spur. Given that these have been propagated by seed, others may have better expression of the Shutennou's purple spur. Additionaly pictures show the difference between the one growths that are Shutennou biased and Ogonmaru biased. The final picture shows size differences between a one growth - Shutennou bias, a three growth, and a five growth plant.
