Hokage translates to 'Fire Shadow'. These produce green, yellow and red variegated leaves which twist or curl slightly giving them a wavy appearance. These will also develop ruby red root tips which most intense at the beginning (spring) and end (fall) of the growing season. Higher light also helps produce more red in the foliage.

Pictured is the current plant batch color. Once they are exposed to brighter light in the spring/summer, the red pigment will start to express (artificial light can also bring out the red).
