Native to the mountains of Sabah and Sarawak on the island of Borneo, this species is unique in that it has pure green pitchers. The leaves are broad and stiff and have green hairs on the underside. The pitchers themselves are covered in short green fuzzy hairs. This is a fairly easy and straightforward Nepenthes to grow, tolerating a wide range of conditions.
