Native to the Department of Antiquia, Colombia. This plant can handle cool to warm temperatures and prefers be be grown in low to medium light levels. The flowers are pendulous, fragrant and long lasting compared to other Stanhopeinae at about 2 to 3 weeks of bloom time.

*Note: It is normal for older foliage on older bulbs to be pale green to yellow before shedding off.
