This fantastic species is native to Borneo, the Philippines, Fiji and New Guinea, where it grows on trees as an epiphyte. The dramatic flower spikes can have over 100 inch and a half to 2 inch fragrant flowers on each spike, and can last up to 3+ months upon the first flowers cracking.

These plants like it warm and moist. Water frequently when in spike, and fertilize every other time you water for best results.

These can grow in sub-tropical to tropical environments, and can even be mounted on trees in Southern Florida. The flowers have a nice light fragrance.

The current batch is in bud with some just starting to flower as of August 7th 2024, which is a preferable stage to ship. See photo with height data for reference.
