Description
We are offering specimen size divisions of select clones of this rare species native to Colombia and Panama. Large-growing plants with a rare color combo of orange and white. When in bloom, these unique plants have fantastic 2" to 3" waxy, orange, fragrant flowers that last for about two months.
We have had good success growing in sphagnum moss. Water heavily during the growth phase in the spring to summer months, then reduce after the growths have matured by winter. A dry rest of 3 to 4 weeks in February followed by more frequent watering as new growths appear will stimulate flower spike formation, This species will lose its leaves on older growths. the leaves will start turning brown at the tips and eventually drop off of the oldest growths.
