Description
An African orchid with a widespread distribution from Cameroon, Congo, Gabon, Ghana, Guinea, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Zaire to Angola. This is the largest flower of all Polystachya, and it also has a nice sweet musk-like fragrance, similar to Cymbidium goeringii. In addition, when they flower, do not remove the spike when the flower finishes as the spikes will continue to extend and re-flower 3 or more times per spike.
Divisions of a good growing clone. Current plants available are about double the size of the one pictured here.
