This species is native to the cloud forests of Peru, Bolivia, and Brazil, and is cherished for its colorful, highly fragrant blooms with a sweet hyacinth scent. It is also a key parent in nearly all Zygopetalum hybrids to date!

These are fast-growing plants when kept in evenly moist conditions. We recommend New Zealand sphagnum moss and very clean water for best results.

Our current batch consists of massive, healthy plants (as pictured). As of 9/25, many are showing 1–2 spikes, and with new growth emerging, we expect additional spikes to develop in the coming weeks.
