This primary cross, made in 2014, utilized the alba variety of Phal. violacea to create a semi-alba variety of this fantastic hybrid. The flower color of these seed-grown plants will vary dramatically, as shown by the two example flowers. Each plant will bloom as its own surprise!

These are very fragrant with a sweet and slightly spicy scent. Never cut the flower spikes unless they are crispy brown, since live flower spikes will flower year after year. This subgenus typically flowers from spring to fall, but with artificial light can flower year-round.
