This is the red flower form of this section Polychilos Phal from Vietnam, Nicobar Islands, Malaysia, Java, Borneo, Sumatra, and the Philippines. This section of Phalaenopsis reflowers from the same spikes, so you do not need to remove them once they flower, unless the plant is small or under stress. They are also fragrant.

This is a shade-loving, warm to hot growing species from lower to mid elevation ranging from 200 to 1000 meters.

Established seedlings in 3 inch pots as of the summer of 2024. We expect these to reach blooming size by the summer of 2025.
