A classic, primary hybrid originally registered in 1964. Often nicknamed the 'spider orchid' due to its long and pointy petals, this variety is a hardy grower with large mature pseudobulbs producing flowers that measure 24 cm (9.4 inches) in vertical spread! This plant can also host 10+ flowers per spike, making them a big and showy display that is sure to turn heads!

These plants enjoy moisture and we have just repotted them into sphagnum moss for the 2024 season (with a bark core in the center). The best way to flower this variety is with heat, bright light, and good amounts of fertilizer during the warm season. We have found if you do not do this, these plants will be evergreen.
