This rare species is native to the Bahamas and South Florida blooms with tall spikes of cream and yellow colored flowers. The plants have a very interesting structure to them, with cylindrical leaves arranged in a fan that climb as new growths emerge. The spikes are tall and flower for several weeks. A slow growing species, these take a decade or more to get to the size that our largest specimens are.
