This species reminds us of a flock of birds when many of the multi-growth specimens bloom at the same time!
This wonderful species from Thailand and Laos produces is small to medium size with narrow, mottled leaves. The flowers emerge from very tall 18" to 20" stems and are bloom with colors of green and copper, with a pink to purple flush in the petals. In the wild, this species experiences a dry season from November to April. In cultivation, this orchid benefits from a dry rest during December or January, which means drier roots and cooler temperatures at night. These plants typically bloom once a year, but under proper greenhouse culture can bloom twice a year.
