This species is from the Philippines, and its name, 'Argus', comes from the Greek mythological character who had 100 eyes. This relates to all the spots in the petals. Beautiful tall stately flower spikes with 3 inch flowers that last for about 6 to 8 weeks. These also have nice mottled foliage and make for a nice ornamental plant as well!
