Paph. delenatii is native to Vietnam. This plant for many years was extremely rare in the western world as only a couple of individual plants were in existence in France; from these, seedlings were finally made but were slow-growing. Through multiple generations of breeding, these are now very easy to grow and flower.

This cross is perhaps the best of the delenatii available today, producing huge flowers that are 10-12 centimeters across. These large-leafed plants, with leaves up to 5 cm wide on mature plants, will produce award quality flowers.

These are triploids that grow faster and flower more freely than diploids or even tetraploids. This species has the added bonus of fragrance with the flowers developing the scent of roses just a few days after opening.

These are beautiful flowering size plants with outstanding flowers when in bloom.
