This species (native to Thailand Laos and Cambodia) was only discovered in the 1970's by Prasarn shukhakul one of the owners of Bankrabue nursery which was the nursery that collected for the Thai Royal family. This plant is easy to grow and flower they require low to medium light and want to be watered as they approach dryness. The flowers can be 4-6 inches across and they can last for 6-8 weeks and can flower twice per year.
