Native to Assam India, northeastern Bangladesh, the eastern Himalayas, Bhutan, Nepal and the Yunnan province of China. This plant likes moist roots and low light. It can grow in cool to warm conditions, and has beautiful foliage which makes it attractive whether it is in flower or not!
