Also known as 'The Virgin Mary Paphiopedilum', this species is a very nice variety in the cochlopedilum section of Paphiopedilum. Cochlopedilum are sequential bloomers, meaning that one flower blooms after the next for several months, and sometimes years! Paph. victoria-mariae is unique in that it can host 3 to 4 flowers at once, unlike most other cochlopedilum which generally do not hold more than 2 flowers at once.

Native to the island of Sumatra. Is cool to warm tolerant.
