The story behind this plant is that Paph. Conco-bellatulum (concolor x bellatulum) was discovered as a natural hybrid, originally. However, certain plants had flowers that were distinctly different than the man-made Conco-bellatulum, therefore it was given the new species name Paph. wenshanense.
