Description
These plants offered are divisions of select plants we have grown from either divisions of the original plants that were collected and ended up in the Missouri Botanic Garden and were distributed to growers for further propagation or they are divisions of select clones we have grown from seed. These plants are several years old now. We find they do best in shallow pots or compot trays. These will be shipped in the clear trays as in the photos. The plants are priced by the numbers of growths and depending on the quality of the flowers or whether the plant was originally collected in Mexico. These are naturally found growing on limestone so adding dolomite limestone either with chips or powder to the mix is important. Water as the mix approaches dryness.

These are very rare plants in nature with only 7 plants being found originally. Due to a fire not many years ago, there was a report that only one specimen was left in the wild. We haven't offered divisions of these for many years and once these are sold they won't be available again for a long time. The 'Snow Drop' clone (1st picture) is probably our best flowering plant in terms of flower quality. The 'Oaxaca' clone is the original collected plant. The second picture is 'Snow Flake' the photos of the plants were taken on February 13th, 2019. Some of the plants in the photos are not for sale at this time and are other clones that we might have only one or two of.
