A tall, robust Scaphosepalum species from higher elevations in Ecuador. This species is a prodigious year-long bloomer and can produce multiple sequentially-flowering spikes from the base of each new growth. Do not cut the spikes until they are dry and brittle as they may continue to flower. Our currently available plants are healthy recent divisions from a larger collection stud.
