This particular Stelis should be considered 'ornamental', as it is a mutated form in which only buds form (as pictured in the photo). They never open to form flowers, like the Neofinetia falcata 'Ononokomachi'. They do seem easy to grow!

Very little is known about this species... and perhaps it is not even a mutation. It is possible this is the natural form of the flowers, as we have never seen another photo of this species.
